#13 – “Springfield Flashback”

At the beginning of Act II, the human students learn about the Great Cobra Scare of 1953 in Springfield, Missouri.

Recording performed by Rob Hartmann, Amy Burgess, and a very creepy effect that transposes Rob up an octave.

#16 – “The Legend”

In this song, Hawkins tells the few remaining humans a legend about a girl who happens upon a village overrun with snakes, and is begged by the villagers to save them. The parts of the villagers are sung by their cobrafied friends.

In this song, Hannah gloats about her victory over the humans before finishing them off for good. Although it doesn’t quite work out that way…
