These demo recordings reflect the work-in-progress nature of the show. Some are performed by Rob and Katie and their friend Amy, others by Wright State University students, and a few have yet to have performers at all. We’ll update the recordings to the newest and best versions as we have them, so check back.

“Kelly the Destroyer,” the 4th song in the show, is interwoven among scenes from Kelly’s past in which she has gotten herself in a little bit of trouble.

During “The Scientific Method, ” the 5th song in the show, Kelly and Rikki are breaking into the basement of the school to investigate what might be wrong with the air conditioning.

In “None of the Above, ” the human students reject their Hannah-selected career choices.

In “So Darn Cute, ” the 8th song in the show, Mouse and The Mammals rehearse a song about otters for the River Otter Awareness Dance.

#12 – “Fight or Flight”
In the Act I finale, the humans resolve to fight the cobras… and the cobras resolve to fight back.

#13 – “Springfield Flashback”
At the beginning of Act II, the human students learn about the Great Cobra Scare of 1953 in Springfield, Missouri.

#14 – “Mouse In A Maze/Trash Mammal”
In the second number of the second act, the humans have to navigate the maze of the school without being caught by the cobras.

#15 – “Shed Your Skin”
In the third song of the second act, the few remaining humans face their cobrafied friends who try to hypnotize and transform them.

#16 – “The Legend”
In this song, Hawkins tells the few remaining humans a legend about a girl who happens upon a village overrun with snakes, and is begged by the villagers to save them. The parts of the villagers are sung by their cobrafied friends.

In this song, Kelly looks at a comic book about her, drawn by Rikki, and we see Rikki narrate the origins of the great hero, Kelly the Destroyer.

In this song, Hannah gloats about her victory over the humans before finishing them off for good. Although it doesn’t quite work out that way…
